Thanks, For now I am going to leave the hatch unpainted. If you haven't already seen my fix, see post #99.Originally posted by meissen View PostI really like how it looks with the hatch part painted black. To me the flat/matte black tailpanels just look like it's an unpainted replacement piece that's unfinished. If you do white fillins or something, that would help IMHO.
How did you go about getting the rocker fixed on the passenger side, Brian? My passenger rocker is effed up badly.
I have no plans for tint. I am done spending money on this car, until I figure out how long I am going to keop it. If I have some time In the near future I will get into chip burning to adjust my tune. But as far as headers, tint, and shocks.... it is not in the budget for this car at this time.Originally posted by ThreeHonks View Postwow those wheels look really good! thats a case in point of how wheels can make a car! I like the black berger panel just as you have it, I would leave it alone. Any plans for a little tint?
I am serious about selling them in the late spring/summer. Yes they really "make" the car, but this car is more of fun transportation than a car to get looks, if that makes any sense.Originally posted by Purple94Z28 View PostBrian if you are seriously thinking about selling the wheels in the spring and Nate doesn't want them...i have been looking for a clean set of oem zr1's...but seriously man those wheels look awesome on there!...if i was you id sell the salad's with the tires...and get some new tires!
These are OEM wheels and they are in very nice shape as you can see from the backside of the wheel. (I waxed them before I install them too.)Last edited by bri2203; February 4th, 2011, 12:04 PM.

I haven't been following this but I just got caught up! Wow, for starters, the paint came out great, same with your body work! I like the ZR1's too. Keep up the good work. Makes me wish I didn't pull the motor on my 93

Just forwarded it to the french kid at work. He's here for 18 months, and wants an American car with a V8 and RWD.
His priorities are definitely correct, haha. So he'll probably be sending you an email...Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

That would be a good car for someone to buy. Lots of new parts on it, and brians been driving it, so despite the mileage you know its not just going to meltdown on you!-Joel

Thanks Joel, Yes it has been my DD 6 of the 7 days a week and its been enjoyable. To comment on the engine aspect, it is not consuming oil and the spark plugs were in good condition. ( I only replaced them because I had them) Its too bad, when I purchased the car I had bigger plans for it but since I decided not to go through with them, I would rather sell it to someone who will get some use of it. I don't see myself using it much in the summer as I hope to have my chevelle drivable.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostThat would be a good car for someone to buy. I perfectly understand that! I think your next car should be a little more pre-destined for track use since you dont need another cruiserOriginally posted by bri2203 View PostThanks Joel, Yes it has been my DD 6 of the 7 days a week and its been enjoyable.
