Today I met up with the person I sold the car to. I was happy to see the car still looks great and I was also pleased to hear that its been a great car for him. It now has 206,000 miles.

its definitely a car i would feel comfortable buying despite the miles. Great foundation for a serious build with a body as clean as that. Or just drive it.-Joel

Yeah, it's still as nice as when he bought it, and he doesn't beat on it at all. And technically it's only got about 25k on the engine
This first caller he has surely is trying to take advantage of him and get it for way too cheap, by lying about issues.

Misunderstanding on missed sarcasm through the text - just what his response would be to the guy looking at the car saying that LT1s will never make it past 230k.Originally posted by Darren View PostAhh

So Davy (who Brian sold the car to) was able to sell the vehicle to a guy who's a Marine. He said he fell in love when he started the car and heard that V8 roar to life. I asked Davy to refer the guy to MIFbody, so we'll see if he actually joins or not, but it's cool that the car had the same effect on the new owner as it did with Davy when he bought it from Brian.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

I had that same experience buying my car. The LT1 was music to my ears after after everyone telling me to spend the 15k on an LS1 (at the time)-Joel
