Pulling the engine again this week to make additional clearance for the microwave size intake. Headed to the body on Friday....son-of-a.......

This should be finished by then....
That Sucks the car won't be done, but at least it will be right when done. You could can still go on HRPT without the Camaro. Just Drive the truck, seen many do it when their cars break or don't get finished before tour.

I think we'll be lucky if he has it done in time for the Berger show in August.

            • so what is the clearance issue? hopefully you don't have to get rid of the wiper.

Still cowl clearance. Def gonna lose the wiper on the passenger side. Dont really need wipers at all seeing how it will only roll from garage to trailer and back again

                  • Another 1-1/2" of added clearance.....lost both wipers for now. Will eventually work on getting the driver side functioning but as you can see the passenger side is a big fat no.

                    Car comes home tomorrow.....

                          • Well rather than lose the wipers, why not lengthen the front rails moving engine forward, then you simply have to add 6-8" to hood and fenders. LOL, glad to offer you help idea's.

                            • Thats a big bummer. Couldnt you have shortened the motor mount pedestals or something. Not being street legal is no fun

It'll be legal as long as it doesnt rain....shortening the mounts (previously discussed) puts my exhaust, oil pan, etc too close to the ground. Not interested in hitting everything 2" off the ground....not to mention, new K member, new steering shaft, blah, blah, blah...
