  • [Project] 92 RS carbed 350

Well after the internet being gone for a while (lack of money) and the car going slow, (see previous reason) I am getting some work done on it. Got to move it down to my place this coming week and work on the wireing. Two different ideas with it an we will see how it goes as to which i decide. Here she is as it sits now. minus its off the stands now. also included the pic before the motor was put in. side shot is when i first got it.

yeah i been keeping my eye out on craigslist but i cant seem to find one. lol. Well as long as i can get a trailer tomorrow ill bring it to my house and start working on it again. Gonna start with the fuel pump and regulator. hopefully it works and i dont have to deal with all the extra stuff of running the mechanical pump. need to figure out some of this wiring, if i cant then its gonna get some race car stylin

well got the final word on it. if it isnt running by the beginning of next week it has to go. the major thing is getting the fuel delivery hooked up. the wiring is kinda a mess but i may think that cause im not that good at it.

there shouldn't be that much wiring on a carbed car. stick with and it will be running before you know it. i don't know much but i'm willing to learn and help, if you need a hand let me know. i have e lots of tools and it cant be hard lol

Ok so I am trying to get the power steering bracket on the motor, but it had manifolds before and i swapped in headers. Now the bracket doesnt seem to wanna fit. Do I need another one or am I just missing something? where it bolted to the manifolds was pretty thick and now with headers its not. You can see it in the pic I post of the motor before

agh and it continues went to hook up the fuel pressure regulator and its not the one i need it has the inlet on the bottom and 2 outlets one on each side. the buddy i got it from said it was what i needed. After a while searching the Holley website it isn't. can i run it or is that a dumb question. the car right now has the return line plugged and has been for a while plug on the end is pretty rusted

You need a spacer to make it fit. Headers usually came with the spacer..if you don't have it you might be able to find one at your local hardware store or make on from a piece of 3/8 black pipe.
