383 LT1 w/ cc503/ported heads....Been pretty busy with this, today. Took us a couple hours to pull the original LT1 & a couple more to switch out some parts (ie. the parts being re-used) Fairly easy with a hoist & air tools. We dropped it out still connected to the k-member, through the bottom. I took a few pictures, but the camera died about 1/4 way through. The 383 is in the car, just need to button some things up. We are doing it at the shop my friend works at & they closed at 4pm today. Should be finished before next weekend, though. LT1 removal & ins&#.JPGLT1 removal & ins&#.JPG LT1 removal & ins&#.JPG

great move on picking up some pushrods/rockers/guideplates. You should gain about 10-15 rwhp just from going to a full roller rocker and you might pick up even more than that with the slightly increased lift.
But the best part is having peace-of-mind that you can rev this thing pretty high with no worries
