XFI 292 cam stock heads upgraded fuel pump and injectors plus some bbk headers block is .30 over bored anybody know what this should do power wise and some times maybe

  • #2
Id guess 330-340 hp with a proper tune on a stock short block. Times? need more information, auto, 6 speed, stall, gear, weight, headers, exhaust, compression, etc. Eric L

Is the XFI 292 cam a pretty aggressive cam? I'm surprised you're doing it with stock heads.

yeah XFI are good lobes, one of the most aggressive out there.

That cam is way too big without heads, your usable powerband is not going to be very good. Its not gonna help your DCR much either :/

first off, you need to rev to about 7000rpm so you wont see slower track times. ditch the BBK's and get some long tubes. 355 will take Heads/Cam no problem without blinking

I would say a low 13 as it sits now if you have traction
