  • [Project] Project Michigan Cancer Free!

    started this project before Christmas and i thought i would fill you guys in. this started out as just a carpet replacement project, but by the pics you guys can see how that turned out.

                  Wow, so what are the plans going to patch it? My thirdgen didnt look like that at all! Is this a all year round DD or something?

                    Sorry to see! Mine didn't have as bad of the holes but I'm sure in a few more years it'll be there.

                      We are going to use fiberglass panels to fill the hole then use a fiberglass/resin paste to cement it in place.
                      Unfortunately i think the previous owner did DD it in the winter.

                      i don't know if you seen what it looked like when i received it, but it has undergone some major rust repair.

                        If you have access to a welder I would weld in patches.

                        Used to own a Firebird.

                          this may be what i am going to do under the drivers feet, but the rear two areas are in such awkward spots that to make up patch panels would take a lot of time.
