  • project 1967 camaro..

    This is a customers 1967 Camaro. We freshen up the motor, added pro comp alum heads 190cc. A XE268H cam, Edl rpm air gap intake, Edl A.V.S 650cfm carb w/elec choke. And new dress kit. Has a new Trans Know. With a deep cooler pan, with a shift kit Just rebuilt. Also adding a 2200 stall converter. The front end is getting all new upper and lower A-arm bushings, From Energy suspention, Also new ball joints, all the a-arms, springs will be powder coated with new K.Y.B Gas Shocks. Will get New rotors and pads up front as well. All of the bushings in this car is getting replaced with the energy suspention kit we got. The floor is getting a good section replaced. The rear end will be cleaned up and New black paint applyed, And maybe get upgraded to disc brake converstion kit. The Hole under side will get repainted. This will be a very nice cruising Muscle car.

      Are you adding disc brakes in back?, upgrading the front ,or both?

        Im putting new rotors and pads up front and might do a disc convertion in back. Depends on what the customer wants.

          Shoot the rear disc will be as big as the front disc. lol

          I been considering upgrading my 11" brakes, thats why I asked you what your plan was.

                        Well got the a-arms off, and seperated from the spindle, ( that was fun ) started putting the pullys on the motor. Got the a-arms soaking. Undercoated the wheel wells like customer wanted. Sway bar is off and needs refinished. got a good parts list to order again. Customer is coming up monday to look at car and order more parts. Thats about it for today. Gotta do some bushing pressing tommarow...
