Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

88 iroc z inner wheel well/inner fender/wheel house
got a problem here...noticed some rot on my inner wheel houses in the rear and one in the front drivers side i would like to repair these or have these repaired any posts threads etc etc etc.... will help alot!!!!!
Your best bet for the front is like I was telling you yesterday. I found a clean 3rd gen at the junkyard and had them cut out the inner wheel well for me. I then measured/cut out my rust andhole and measured/cut the clean part. I cut the clean part 1/2" bigger on all sides, layed it in place, and welded it. Mine looked decent but I didn't care because it was under the coolant bottle. If you really wanted to make it look good you would just cut it the same size as the hole you cut in the wheel well so it sits flush and then grind down the welds before you paint.

I'm not a body man but that seems like you would have to rip out the interior and do pretty much the same thing. I don't think it would matter if you did it from the inside or outside. I'd probably do it from the inside.
