      making some nice progress larry. At this rate you will have her out and apart in no time, might even be able to get it back running before snow flies if you didn't have your vacation

        Yeah we are - we only have like 4 hours into it and that's with being extremely slow. We're just taking our time because we have the mindset that there's no rush to get it done. Obviously, we don't want to take forever but since he's retired he can work on it through the day just as easily.

              Surprisingly we only had an issue with one bolt so far - our neighbor Mike with the Chevelle happened to be over while we were having fun with the bolt and told us to use a torch. First time we've done that before but it worked great!

                I had to do use a torch to get the wheel off my 87 Firebird. Wasted tons of hours trying to cut/break 1 stud off, wouldn't go.

                            well had a good day today! got engine out of car and all done before my 3:00PM nap time.
                            here are some shots of the engine on the dolly and the car lifted up and on stands.



                            Next step is to slide engine out from under car. then start the tear down to fix it.
