Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
At this stage, pretty much any week day can be a work day. The weekends are a little tough through the rest of the month. We're going to have our Hot Rod Magazine Camaro in the Chevrolet display in the Birmingham Triangle for the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend, and the Berger All Chevy Show & our Club meeting is the following weekend.
We'll try to pick an "official" weekend work day at the Club meeting. OK?

They do a lot of the Nascar and IROC exhausts...might fit your vintage theme...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Jeff, thanks for the link. Definately worth looking into when we get to that stage. My main criteria are: Must have an "X" pipe, needs great ground clearance, and sound good without being too loud, especially inside the car.

Dynatech now offer stainless steel exhaust systems. They have a x pipe. It's a 2.5 inch system, 3 inch will be out sometime this fall.
Thanks for the links, guys. I'll check these out, too.

I thought they might work for the Nascar/IROC boom tube side exhaust.
I love the look of that...

Been a GREAT week for Project DZ74 !!!
Finally got the underbody done and today UPS delivered the new WHEELS
These are from a small company in California called Team 3 Wheels.
I am VERY impressed with their quality!!!
The back side of the barrel is polished as nicely as the front side. And they came with lug nuts and chrome valve stems.

The wheels look awesome. Ray brought them over to the house tonight. The Project DZ74 is somewhat themed after the International Race of Champions Camaro race cars from the 1975 through the 1977 seasons. These wheels are 17 inch versions that look like the original Minilite wheels they used then. (Nearly every car, regardless of make, racing in the Trans Am series in the late 60's through the mid 70's ran Minilite wheels too.)
We also have the IROC front air dam for the bumper to further the IROC theme. We're hoping to have the Project on the road before winter.

I would like to have it running and have a chance to get a few "shake down" runs on her before winter. And, at this stage, yes, we're planning to have it in Autorama
