Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
OH man looks great Brian, did you paint that yourself?
Thanks Darren! I wanted to painted it but I wanted the panels to match and not have and runs or Zebra stripes. I helped do alot of the body work, priming, and the I had him paint it. It turned out very well!
If It was a drag car or a daily driver, I would have painted it in a heart beat.

that is some nice work man do I ever need to get started on mine, I have a lot to learn!
I hope you don't learn as much as I did. My car has new fenders, hood, door skins, quarters, trunk lid, partial trunk, patches in the floor, etc and they didn't just bolt up. I wish I could do over again and would be at a different spot now. But I learned alot.
The lesson I learned is, do not buy a rusty car!
Get to work Darren, you gotta be persistant! it won't fix itself ....Unfortunatly

I like having a loud car, every time the neighbors dog barks, I just go let my car sit and idle in the driveway
looks really good, not putting headers on it though?
Thats one of things I would do differently. If didn't have any money into this motor already, I would have an LS motor or at least a 383. When we assembled the 350 it was going to be a cruiser, and a few other reasons(cost, fitment, maintance) I decided to use the manifolds.
In the near future when I put on a larger, louder exhaust, I will upgrade to headers at the same time.
Not a fan of rally stripes on everything.. Think its gorgeous the way it is.. but your car..

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
woot, I made some more progress!
Tha dash is in the car AGAIN, I had to pulled it back out after I realized the vents needed to be replaced. Hopefully by the weekend I will have most of it hooked up! then I can put on my dash pad and have my winshield installed,
I also did some work under the hood. I rebuilt the carb and also bought a carb spacer to keep the fuel from heat soaking. I need to order some spark plug wires and remake my fuel line, prime the engine and its ready to start up
