  • Yeah, we changed the front lower control arms from one k frame to the next. That was a fight to the end the bolts through the bushings were really rusted. I really like that tubular k frame your putting in.
OBTW there is a place 11/2 mile from us, that will bend up the brake lines, they have all the spec's on cad program. we got front both sides rear both sides and anti unit to rear all done for 185.00 in stainless. that also included 2 short ones to master cylinder.

    • That's sounds like a good deal Larry.

      Had a good day today

      Things done:
      Trans cleaned
      Motor mounts done
      Rack cleaned
      Rack installed
      Break line done
      Tie rod ends replaced
      Fog light's fixed

I went and picked up some small clamps so I can secure the break lines to the frame and picked up some wire harness loom so we can replace the old stuff.

Red's working on pics AND the UPS guy came today
I'll let Red tell ya what came

              • Wow - that's crazy how the engine just barely sits on that k-frame... that'd make me nervous as hell although I understand it really is safe and tons of people use it with tons of power. Just seems like there's nothing for the engine mounts to sit on.

And bwahaha I see you have the blasted upper radiator hose that Murrays and Autozone wanted to sell me. I kept telling them there's no way in hell that's the right hose for a 95 but they insisted that's what was in their system. Apparently that hose was only used on 93-94 and then in 95-97 they switched where the hoses went.

Amazing how beefier the poly motor mount bushings are compared to the stockers.

                  • What's the pic of the wires? Looks like he did a nice job doing an inline fuse on that one wire (if that's what in fact the pellet looking thing in the middle of the wires is) - almost looks like the stock fusible links.

                    • that cheap pin is exactly that. hahaha. it keeps the nut from being able to spin off. nothin to worry about. there's no load on it that would cause any failure really, just to keep it from spinning off due to vibrations or something minor. parts and progress looks great so far! this thing is gonna rip!

What I did there B was fix her fog lamp wires and I used a red shrink tube to seal it.

                              • What's the cylinder in the middle of the shrink tube though? Looks like a fuse the way it's shaped. Quality wiring, though, that's for sure
