My progress today was yet more cleaning. I don't think it would be so bad if it wasn't so cold and windy all the time. The part on the left was the worst. I don't think that thing was clean when it was brand spankin' new.

Larry I'm thinking you need to use my battery operated magnetic dirt sucking automatic aluminum polishing wand on your car. I bet your anxious to get it done and get it back.

Yes they are

It took 4 days and they tuned it back out ready for parts

Decent progress once I got stuff back from the engine shop.
The k-memeber went well

With 152xxx miles Red's black had to be decked .005 to clean it up so that added to the cost

I'll get pics of the block & parts tomorrow.

What exactly does this mean and will it change anything?

The surface which the cylinder heads sit on had to be trimmed down a little. It will raise the compression, how much I'm not sure.

Just means that because of the mileage the surface that the heads sit on was warped.
It will raise the compression a touch but not any thing to worry about.

Today was almost a wash

Any how I got the suspension finished so now I can start on the little things like engine mounts, sway bar, fixing the wire loom, then start with the block assembly.

So Red, post those pics
