Agreed. I could have easily bought another 4th gen for the money I've spent this winter but it wouldn't be the same.- Brian Meissen

Well my day didn't go right
I didn't have the time to do much but the bushings aren't coming out so I have to have them pressed out
That's the plan for tomorrow and then start installing the new bushings.
Red is a cleaning fool and was here again today cleaning the engine bay and taking more oil slicked parts home for a good bath

Cleaning grimmy parts is always the worst part of an overhaul/engine mod. Kyle since your pitcrew for 6 fbodys plus your 2 your title should be "Pitcrew extraordonar"

Today's progress.....Kyle worked on a bit of rust and I cleaned car parts at home such as the "I don't have a clue", the alternator, fans, timing chain cover, and also cleaned the starter the other day and now it looks almost new again.
I'm thinking I could have sold the oil that was on the timing chain cover and moved to a tropical climate but right now even South Carolina sounds good. Michigan weather blows. I worked outside and it took me 1.5 hours alone to clean the fans.
Starter

Parts I cleaned today...

Kyle purchased a few items to spruce up the engine bay in places.

Kyle's progress today...

Well I got a little done today.
Had to take the A-Arms to WMT to have the bushings pressed out but they didn't get to all of it today so they will be done tomorrow.
Then I'll prime and paint them black with Rust-oleum.
I also bought a can so I can paint the frame that has some surface rust so I don't get over spray on the car.
So I hope tomorrow afternoon some time I can start with the k-memeber, control arms, & shocks.
Pics will follow!!!!
