Loaded all the parts up and went to the engine shop.

My progress for the day, cleaning the engine bay. Or at least starting to clean the engine bay. Somehow a hose managed to sneak down my hoodie and hose my T-shirt with antifreeze. Tammie was kind enough to lend me one of Kyle's old shirts. I don't mind cleaning but those sneaky hoses have got to go. Other than that, I brought home a few parts, front sway bar, a very greasy part, I think the starter or alternator (can't remember), another very greasy part, and several plastic panels.
Sorry no pics today but I did purchase new valve covers and my EGR (blockoff ?) plate arrived today. Still have to buy a rag something eliminator, a wire loom, new hoses and a few other things. Now I know what Brian meant about the nickel and dime stuff.
Funny thing is I'm really not getting to excited. I'm just burned out from all the extra purchases and wonder when it will end.sigpic
