I know I'm a freak. If they are on me or in my house, I have a fit. But when the girls and I had the car painted, we wanted something other than flames or stripes. We like flames and stripes but the spiders give the car a bit of a different creepy effect...original. Besides, it is kinda funny to watch people at intersections trying to figure out what is on the hood.Originally posted by SoulTerror View PostLooking good. And red you hate spiders yet you have them on your car....sigpic

I hope so Rolo. And I'm still buying items for the car but I knew this would happen. There are always the little things one forgets about but at least they aren't high dollar items....yet! I'm sitting here second guessing some things and hope what I've purchased will give me what I want. I trust Kyle and Pace so hopefully it will kick me back in my seat. The engine is falling apart and for once I can say I'm excited about it.Originally posted by DeLaRosa25 View Postyup doing good. You chose a really nice set up red!sigpic

Yeah the nickel and dime stage where you end up buying things you forgot about is a deadly stage. I dropped a little under 1 grand on nickel and dime stuff.- Brian Meissen

Just sit back and relax, enjoy the pics and before you know it you'll be driving your car again.
I'm thinking mid week next week if you want to to come and do some cleaning?
After that I don't know when you would be able to get in and do the cleaning in the engine bay?
You can do your rims when ever though
BTW, how the hell to you get at your lug nuts??
There is no set screw to get that center cap off

WOW Red, looks like quite the project! Bet you can't wait to get it running again. I'm sure Kyle will do a great job for you. You mentioned replacing hoses, etc., if you have not replaced anything like that since you bought your car, replace everything NOW, it will be way better that replacing them as they fail and will give a better appearance when done. You'll be glad you did, 'sides there aren't that many hoses and only 1 belt to replace.
All you're doing makes me wish I could do what I want this year-maybe next year. Have a friend of a friend who build race engines, said he would help me with mine and would give some of his "special touches". Stop by when you get your car done would like to see-scratch that, go for a ride.sigpicWe live in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Today was productive
Worked from 2-6:30 and got the motor out and almost striped down.
Lot's of little things to do now like removing the motor mounts, rewiring fog lights, moving the oil pressure sending unit to the top and taking care of some of the wire harness.
Just needs some love, no major problems!
We need to clean the under side of the car too.
The motor will be heading to the shop on Monday and should be done by Friday as long as they aren't swamped.
I hope the Clutch gets here soon
Then I start with the K-Member and getting that torn out and the new one in.
The FedEx dude came too so that means new parts
I wonder what part??
I'm going to get pics to Red later tonight, i have a few things that I have to do with my kids
