Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Red's (WHOMP MEISSEN and maybe LARRY TOO!) rebuild
So the breakdown begins...not the engine but rather mine. I had fun driving it around these last couple of days. Seriously tho, I know Kyle will do a good job and I'm looking forward to the end of this all. Quite exciting. Car is now at Kyle's and I'll post pics as Kyle sends them to me.
It's the project car that I bought
I'm going to start on it tonight so I can have help getting the bumper and hood off with out damage

Red should be up-loading pics today.
I did some damage last night
My goal is to have the motor out by Thursday or sooner and down to the engine shop by Monday.
Then the K-Member will come out after that

D'oh, I had just asked in your tools thread about that. From the pics it looked like the engine was already out - was going to say you do some damn fast work! Are you dropping it out of the bottom or out the top?
Motor is coming out the top because I'm not taking the trany out.
I actually like doing it that way.

I see some extensive bug cleaning in my future. Hopefully it will be as easy as the little spider I stepped on this morning.....with my bare foot....eeewwww!
My hood on Kyle's project car.
Kyle says so far things have come out relatively easy. Except for the bop in the head when my CAI filter fell on him. Apparently it came loose at some point and I'm wondering if it didn't happen when I hit that coon last fall. Anyhow, he says there isn't loads of rust from what he can see so far.
And I have a freeloader or a klingon. Kinda cute anyhow!
More parts came in today
Pics will be coming later tonight
If this keeps going as well as it is I may have the motor out tonight???
