  • [Project] Red's (WHOMP MEISSEN and maybe LARRY TOO!) rebuild

I've always loved to run with the big dogs but one must pay a price for such a privilege. As you can see, I was feeling a tad "faint" after cutting a check for my shopping list which translated into a 4 page receipt. Hopefully I'll have my car at Kyle's this weekend and he can begin the rebuild. I'll list all the goodies below and I know I've heard of all this stuff before but some of it I'm still a 'lil clueless about but am learning as I go. I think I drive Kyle nuts with all my questions but I've always been one to ask if I don't know. I told Kyle when my car is done, it better push my guts into the seat and make me wet my pants.

Spec II clutch (still have to purchase)
DMH dual low profile cutouts (another still have to purchase)
Heads: AFR SBC 210cc LT4 Race Ready Reverse Cool Heads, L98 angle plug
Comp Cam: (ROUGH IDLE YEAH!) 07-468-8 grind #: 292XFI HR13 - hydraulic roller, RPM range: 2200 to 6200
Edelbrock struts and shocks and I'm hoping they are as good as the guy said they are.
All new bushing and nuts and bolts etc.
    Edelbrock throttle body
    Eagle rotating assembly
    Head gasket set
    Conversion set
    Oil cooler set
    Oil pump set
    Oil pump screen
    3pc timing set
    16 HYD lifters
    383 stroker kit
Head bolt and main stud kits
    42lb. fuel injectors
    Pacesetter headers and Y pipe
    MSD LT-1 distributor
    MSD blaster GM coil
MSD 6AL (saw it demonstrated at the store and had to have one).
    MSD super wire set
    NGK spark plugs
    Motor mount
Camaro motor mount (Kyle why are there two of these?)
    MSD harness
    Comp rocker arm
    Comp 5/16 magnum pus
SBC LT-1 electric (isn't this my water pump?)
    needle roller
    End link set
Control arm and sway bar bushing thingys
    PA racing K-member

That's it for now and I'll post pics of the progress as Kyle sends them to me.

Yeah you're definitely going to be beating me no doubt about that! But it's cool, I'm not trying to be the fastest.

VERY, VERY impressive list of parts, though, Mary Sue! I'm really excited for you!!!!

I think Liz will be a bit faster

                              Your heads are 195's & not 210's.

You need to call Pace and get your heads & cam ASAP.
