  • [Project] Daily driver

Figured I would make a thread about my winter project. The car is my daily driver during the summer so I'm not looking for 500hp or anything, just something fun. It's a budget build for sure, I have been picking up parts here and there for awhile now, just waiting on good deals.
    Parts I have:

    241 heads, nothing special.

Thunder Racing 230 reverse split cam

    LS6 intake

    160* thermostat

    Granatelli 255lph in tank pump

Build 4l65: Trans-go shift kit. Vig 3600 stall

    4.10 gears

    B&M ratchet shifter

Pacesetters with TSP true duals dumped

    MSD wires

2 gauge pillar - AEM wideband, autometer Z series trans temp

    Parts Needed:

    MT street radials

    Suspension parts

    Nitrous

Anyway its a pretty basic project. Let me know what you think. A few pictures a couple post down.

Video Added: Cold start, untuned, trying to keep it alive.

Here is a few pictures, I would have taken more but didn't bring the camera.

Does this look really red/orange to anyone? I have not taken an engine apart before so I'm not sure what its supposed to look like. Thanks

              The car has 83k.

Where are you located? We will have to cruise this summer.

                    Thanks guys.

Got the cam and heads on this weekend. Still have to do other odds and ends but it does have a nice sound to it. I should be able to get a video clip of it this weekend.

                        DUDE. That thing sounds SICK!

Can't wait to hear it idle when it's tuned and not attempting to go back to sleep.

Thanks Kyle. I hope to have it tuned sometime in the next week. I'm sure you will see it down on Woodward soon.
