Oh, looked like a little hole on the left of the DS bar. I have a plug there that allows access to the filler tube to disconnect it from the tank. Plus I couldn't move mine in because of my amp/crossover rack..

                  Oh yes I did...extremely interesting...thank you, sir...

EDIT: If you give a shit, and still developing information at this time, but there may be as many as 5, count 'em 5, build sheets in third gens...

Under the dash, under the front seats, under the rear seats, in the spare tire well, and under the carpet in the rear compartment (the one you've found).

Okay, so I feel like a retard asking this, but there is only one way to learn, whats so special about that sheet?

That sheet(s) was placed in your car at the factory and (especially for Chevys) is one of the only ways of truly authenticating what your car is in terms of factory options.

They might not seem special to you 4th gen owners now, but they are absolute gold when you want to sell your car in the years ahead.

It's history...it's provenance...and the more of it you have, the more your car will be valued at in the future.

Documentation like this can add maybe 10-15% on to the value of the vehicle at the end of the day...more so if you have an exceedingly rare or "specialty built" vehicle that is difficult to document.

That, and for me at least, I get a feeling or insight into the person who actually assembled the car...the last time that sheet was touched, it was still going down the assembly line.

As an aside, last year, an unheard-of-blank-never-used original 1970 Chevrolet window sticker and Protecto-Plate sold on eBay for just north of $14,000...and all I could think of was "well, another LS6 Chevelle convertible was just born..."

I didnt think people found those sheets in 4th gens?

My cousin found the remnants of one in the back seat of his 68 coronet. It was so tore up we could barely see anything on it, but he has it all the peices in a plastic bag in case he ever wants to put the puzzle together. He has another one from a car he got an extra back seat out of too.
