The secret is to put a plastic baggy over the top of the can before putting the lid on. 1 year after I opened my can, I opened it and did the bottom of my lawn mower deck.Originally posted by Boost Addict View PostDO NOT buy the gallon! You will have to put it all in a seperate container once you are done using it unless you are very careful not to spill any on the can. It is very difficult to get a can open once you have gotten then paint over the can. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way. I see you not needing more than a quart.http://www.fquick.com/csmith4153

So how much prep. time should i invest before por-15 on? Just get the loose stuff off and just give her a good wire brush down and then should i be good to go??
-Guy that have used por-15. Should i just go over everything like the brake lines and brackets and all?

POR likes rust, I think it sticks to it better, I wouldnt bother with the wire brush, I'd just get all the dirt off of there and stuff like that. And I would just put it right over the brake lines and other stuff.2015 Silverado
