Glad to hear that!Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postyou have really good LCA angles, that thing is gonna hook!
Apparently I only purchased one spring seat
So we took one of the v6 shock assemblies up to Mr Muffler at 23 and Van Dyke and had him cut the nut off of the shock - that worked GREAT! So now we have the spring seat to be able to put the passenger side suspension all together.
And we also have to take a look at the master cylinder. We bled the brakes last night until it was pure fluid coming out with no air bubbles. Then we never could get the brake pedal to "build up" pressure until you couldn't press it down anymore. It's hard to explain but it was like we could press the pedal and it'd get hard about halfway down but if we kept pumping it - it never built up pressure to the point that you couldn't move it anymore which I know isn't normal. We're thinking the seal to the master cylinder isn't right since the master cylinder sat out on the shelf for a few months (with fluid in it, though) but maybe the seal dried up?Last edited by meissen; April 11th, 2009, 10:19 AM.- Brian Meissen

Some cars will build pressure until the petal is rock hard at the top and some will build pressure until the pedal is hard about half way down. The only real way to tell if you got all the air out of the system is take the car for a test drive.

When it's drivableOriginally posted by s.reef View PostNice Progress Brian, when is Steve tuning it?
We have to get it drivable, get it readable (by tuning software), and then get it to him.
Yeah, that's most likely what we'll be doing.Originally posted by 9T8W66 View PostYeah that's what I said last night aswell after we bled the whole system including the ABS block.
No - should we have? We filled the master cylinder when we started and that was good enough for filling all the new hardlines as well as filling the water bottle that we used about halfway with fluid.Originally posted by MP81 View PostYou guys did add more fluid, right...

Can you argue that it's "revolutionary"? Perhaps. Just because it's "new" and "different" doesn't mean it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

B, something else you may have to do is where your break lines come off the Master, you might need to take them off, put on some short ones that curve back into the reservoir ad bleed the Master & Slave to get the air out of there.
If you still have your old lines you can use them.
I had to do that when I deleted my ABS.

Well I scored one for B over the weekend. I got a used trans shift cable. I had him disconnect the lever with cable attached so will have no issues.
Today I plan to attack that and the master cyl. brake issue. If those go good and time left then passenger side shock and spring. then we are ready to hit the road. Get front alignment done and exhaust finished and then the final tune by SB tuning.sigpic
