    • Ya problems are bound to happen. You guys are smart and have lots of ppl helping out so I don't think you'll come along any problems that you won't be able to solve fairly quickly.

      • Time on Tuesday would be 5pm. It's getting too hard to really coordinate people to be there for the first "true" start up, so if you really insist on being there for the first live startup and don't mind coming out to my house only to find out that it won't be starting, then y'all are welcome to come over but otherwise my dad and I both agree that we'll have an official day that everyone that wants to can come over and we'll start the car for the first real "Public" startup.

When Steve comes over on Tuesday we have to try again on getting his laptop fixed and if we do get his laptop fixed then we need to see if his software will be able to read the PCM at all. We're really hoping that it will be able to and then we should be all set.

I think what stressed me out too much is the deadlines and saying "it has to be done this weekend" and trying to have it done for when everyone was going to be there. That's too much unnecessary stress. I've actually gotten to the point where if it starts it starts if it doesn't then light a match and walk away. No seriously - we're damned close and I know the bulk of the work is finished, I can handle sorting out the small stuff.

                • forget any plans or dates, they seriously never work out, just do what you need to and when it happens it happens. They car is going to sound much better when its all tuned and everything is all together and ready to drive anyways.

                  • Part of the job being "Manager of pit crew" is to keep cars owner calm and pointed in right direction. That was very hard this weekend. There was a moment when it looked like we were going to have to install the 95 body and engine bay wire harness, this muthor runs all over under dash and all the way to rear tail lights. "Muther of son above have mercy, on us poor car nuts." Then broke it down to about half dozen connections.8-O
