    • Here is the cooler I went with

      http://www.jegs.com/i/Perma-Cool/771/1013/10002/-1

Comes with hose, zip ties or whatever they are, I thought it was a pretty good deal for the price.

      • Yeah - under that white wrap it's very shiny! From what I could see, it looked awesome.

Along with all the other shiny stainless parts in the engine bay!

Did you make that AC line?

Also I love the PCM! Haha, Ive done that with some connectors before, not pretty, but theres no way the connectors are coming un done.

Where is this bolt/easyout in question? I couldnt find it in the pictures.

Where did you get the LT1 TB plate? Do they make something similar for the ls1's?

          • It was just your basic earl's braided line. Not a specific kit. Just order up a specific length of line in the size you need, i can't remember what mine was, and then the necessary earl's fittings to connect it all.

The bolt/easyout problem was resolve. the hole on the rad cover plate was big enough so I was able to drill next to easyout and tap new threads.
The Throttle body plate I got on e bay search camaro parts he has a lot of different choices. ran about 16-18 buck with shipping. I bid it out so was cheaper than buy it now price.
No that is stock a/c line I just polished it, along with dryer bottle.

Yeah, I'm pretty geeked about all the shine my engine bay should have when it gets closer to being truly finished. I still haven't bought all the shiny parts that I want.

Dad polished it up but it's the stock v6/LT1 AC line. It's honestly amazing how much the stock stuff can shine if you just put a little elbow grease and a drill press with appropriate attachments to work.

I ordered replacement connectors so thank god it won't stay like that. It really annoyed me - for all the money I spent on this car I'm not going to have the PCM held together with zip ties

The bolt / easyout is the right-most bolt in the picture that goes into the radiator shroud. My dad (as posted above) was able to fix it - I waited on taking pictures until today so no pics of when it was messed up.

Oh, and more good news - I had offered a guy on ebay $20 + S&H if he would end his e-bay auction 1.5 days early. He never responded to my offer and the ebay auction just ended. I won the auction for ~11 + S&H so he screwed himself out of $9 extra bucks for not responding.

I bet the zip ties are stronger.
