Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Sorry to hear about the bad news lately Brian, but to be honest it'll give you time to go over everything and recheck it all that way there are no hiccups on starting day, hope all goes well.
No offense guys, I do appreciate the input, but I'm getting a little too full of all the doomsday talk everyone spews every single time they see/hear something about the buildup.
people are just trying to help. Most people giving the advice have been through builds already and are trying to save you problems later. Better to be safe than sorry when this much money is invested..

You still need the lower spring seats? If they'll work you can have them off of my v6 k member.
If the number Gary posted is the right piece, I'll just buy 'em new for the $25 or so it'll cost to get two and have them shipped. But yeah, it's the rubber piece at the very bottom that the springs sit on in the front shock.
And no news today, my dad talked some sense in me and with all the money we spent we're going to wait and do it right. Steve obviously didn't want to have to make two trips to my house - can't blame him - so he's waiting to come over to flash the PCM until we're actually ready to start the car.
Progress from today:
Engine block is filled with coolant - all 2 gallons worth
Positive terminal is almost completely finished the way I want it to be, just have to figure out where to put the hookup
Rerouted the battery terminal wires correctly
Rerouted the power steering lines correctly
Bolted the passenger side a-arm into place
Bolted the swaybar up into place
Left to do for starting the car:
Install new automatic radiator
Reinstall the radiator hoses and plugs
Install transmission cooler
Run the lines from the trans cooler to the radiator to the transmission
Hook up transmission to the shift knob cable
Polish AC lines and canister
Clear coat AC lines and canster
Install AC lines and canister
Finish filling radiator and engine with coolant
Fill transmission with fluid
Install intake elbow and cold air
Recheck connections and bolts and such
Flash PCM
VVVVRRRRROOOOOM!!!!!!!

Thanks Spencer, I really appreciate the offer. Only reason I'm hesitant getting yours are because I know what a huge pain in the ass they are to uninstall
Yea, I have no idea how to get them out, all I know is you may need them and i have them, lol. Always willing to help a brother out. Haha.
Im also curious what everyone is doing for tranny coolers, Im thinking lined up with one of the fans in front of the condenser, or between the condenser and the rad. Not sure how big this thing is yet, mike ordered it for me. Speaking of which, ill be meeting with him tomorrow to pick up the long antisipated transmission, convertor and other goodies (Didnt mean to jack the thread im just pumped!) Anyway, does anyone know if you can even fit anything in front of the condenser on these cars, or is that plastic thing in the way?
