                      • The best tool for getting out exhaust manifold bolts is a heat wrench (aka a torch) Heat the studs up first and the area around the bolt-They come out very easy after that. Hey B, I couldn't tell in the pics but it looked like to me that there was some oil leakage on the new motor- I am assuming your replacing valve cover gaskets and what not.

                          • Everything looks good. I didn't get to really stick my head in and around the engine because I am a wrenching machine but, it should be basically straight forward swapping without looking for all that misc crap. I can't believe that v6 had a two piece driveshaft! Ultimate Fail.

                              JC who came with me yesterday his v6 had a 2 piece talk about a ***** to remove when the car has been driven in the snow, seized bolts,rusted to crap oh man that day sucked. his middle carrier bearing went bad

                              • I can't see why GM did that.. They didnt save money with the two piece... Maybe it has less driveline vibration?
