The best tool for getting out exhaust manifold bolts is a heat wrench (aka a torch) Heat the studs up first and the area around the bolt-They come out very easy after that. Hey B, I couldn't tell in the pics but it looked like to me that there was some oil leakage on the new motor- I am assuming your replacing valve cover gaskets and what not.

Everything looks good. I didn't get to really stick my head in and around the engine because I am a wrenching machine but, it should be basically straight forward swapping without looking for all that misc crap.
