  • Hard to really see the total scope of it since it was pretty dark under there with just the flash of the camera. Gets the point across though. Definitely going to need to do another coat to fill in the brush strokes. Overall, though, I was really impressed with how easily it goes on. I know it won't stick that great to non-rust areas but I painted it on anyway just so it'd be uniform (until it flakes off the non-rusted areas) Not too bad for only an hour or two worth of work tonight. Hope to get more done through the week an hour here and an hour there. I used the trick that I think I saw posted on here somewhere - when I went to close the POR15 can I put a plastic ziplock bag between the can and the top so when it's time to reopen the paint won't have made it impossible to reopen. Anyway, here's the pics:

Did you see the update in my thread about the furniture/moving dollies?

Steve's doing a street tune on it. Can't wait to get it to him! Just went and checked and damn that sucks about that dolly. I'm not sure on the dimensions and what wood was used on mine - we've used our dolly for everything and so far it's worked well.

...AND HOLY SHIT is Harbor Freight an awesome store!!!!! I just went to their site for the first time while typing this to see that plastic one you were talking about getting and oh man I could spend thousands there. Holy crap.

Yeah mine was bad but not *too bad* - I had already covered the interior of that rust spot with epoxy resin to kill oxygen getting to it so hopefully the paint on the undercarriage will be sufficient.

I would of sanded it down and welded a small plate on the inside for extra strength. But yours should be fine you had a little bit of rust but nothing bad when i was under your car.

your car still amazes me with the double drive shaft and 1 fan hahaha

Yeah.. if I had the interior out right now I would definitely do more. The epoxy resin was put in over a year ago when I put the aftermarket red carpet in.

Yeah Brian was amazed when we went to new Ace Hardware last year, and the aisle they had all the drawers with springs and gromlets etc etc. I had to push him out of the store, he was like a kid in a candy store.

                              • Bwahahah yeah it was another solution found to a problem yet to exist. BUT... should there ever be a need for any type of bolt or spring... ACE hardware is definitely the place to go!
