    • B, are you hand painting all that? Holy cow that seems like alot of work. Accessory bracket? For what? I thought your motor was complete?

      • My dad is hand painting it, yeah. And sure it seems like a lot of work now - wait till I'm crawling under the car and hand painting the under carriage. Not meaning to diminish the work my dad's doing though, this project wouldn't be anywhere near where it is if it weren't for him.

And yeah, I *might* be buying new sway bar bushings but I might not have to. We still have to drop the v6 k-frame out and start swapping parts from the v6 k-frame onto the v-8. Remember I have what was SLPMatt's sway bar. Also, it'll be interesting to see the condition of my parts when we drop the v6 k-frame. I had the passenger side lower A-arm replaced because it was bent at like a 45 degree angle, my v6 sway bar was snapped in half, and my tie rods were replaced. Sean from Collins Auto did the work and he used all top of the line stuff so I want to put it all on the v8. Hopefully all the bushings and what not should still be good.

And the accessory bracket is for the AC, power steering, and alternator.

        • Did you not get the accessories with the motor?

EDIT: Never mind, I went back to like page 5 and seen your original bracket was broke.

          • Haha you're losing me on where you're going. We got all the accessories and everything, but the bracket was busted in the accident that the car was in (the Camaro t-boned another car).

              • Well you were talking about a new bracket and I was like WTF I thought he bought a complete motor(not realizing the original one was damaged), then I went back through the thread and found the pictures you just posted showing the broken one. Soooooo, I was just confused, sorry to take up space in the thread, haha.

                    • Well the plan today is to assemble the new shocks and springs. That is if the new shock mounts come in that were ordered. Then drop the v6 kframe from B's car and switch the rack and tie rods, Also have new motor mounts to install. I feel like a housewife! my work is never done!

Sounds like B has a sweet deal here, all I hear about is his dad doing all the work... I gotta say I am kind of jealous...
