      • You guys can really mount the trans cooler anywhere you think it'll get lots of air, most people do it in front of the rad/condenser. I have mine mounted under the drl on the passenger side.

I bought mine from Creight. Only problem was that it doesn't come with ... well, anything. I bought the zip tie installation kit too, but I have to get my own connectors and hoses to get it installed.

Finish and then start it. I'm not putting a deadline on it but I think this time next week it should be running. I got too caught up trying to make the deadline that I started to want to cut corners and I can't do that. Going to do it right, even if it continues to make me broke.

Yeah, that's what Mike was saying. I just want it somewhere that will be safe and won't get damaged. Mike said he's heard of people putting them inside their bumper (like... in the fender side of the bumper where there's absolutely no air flow).

                            • FWIW Brian, on my Trans Am I ran a trans cooler that was by itself. I ran earl's braided lines from the transmission all the way up to the cooler and then back right to the trans. I mounted the cooler right up front with a custom bracket and cut out my license plate area and it mounted vertically so it was right at the nose of the car. The brackets made were welded right to the metal bumper support.

                              • Do you have a link to the earl lines you're talking about?

Here's some progress pics from this weekend and the past couple days. We've been doing a lot of little things. Yesterday I went through and reran some stuff so it'd be cleaner looking, and today my dad did some polishing and other work. We're mostly waiting on my automatic radiator to arrive.
