  • Are you wheels silver or polished?
I decide to paint my chevelle silver, probaly with black stripes. I am trying to determing how much chrome it will have and what kind of wheels to use. It will have chrome bumpers and door handles, I already removed the rocker moldings but I don't know if I should keep the wheel well moldings or the drip rail molding.

Post of pictures of your jack kit. lol The C5 we lowered as far as the stock bolts would allow and we had drive on a 2x6 then a stacked 2x10 so it wouldn't scrap the alignment rack.

    • My wheels are silver spokes (pretty much match the paint of the car) with a polished lip.

As for jacking, i have some long 2x6's with another 2x6 half the size nailed to one end. Each edge is angle cut. So this way i drive up on the front of the 2x6 (level 1), then as i keey going i get to the next 2x6 and up on the is level 2. Then i can get a jack under there to the crossmember. Ill post pics later, don't feel like going out in the cold garage

                    • yes it is. Havent had a chance to steam clean the carpets yet. I spent all the last few nice days last year cruising and its been too cold since. My floormats cover those up but I have them out of the car right now.
