  • [Restoration] fast load 1968 Camaro convertible redo

well here's what i got so far,

as everyine knows both our Y82 and our 68 Maro were damaged early this season

this is photo documentation of the restoration that the 68 had to under go

we found that our previously restored 68 (probably 10yrs old) had pluses and minuses:

right front fender, right door skin, both rear full qtrs(rare cause most only do skins), both rockers & hood had all been replaced

during this resto we ended up replacing the last 3 panels - LF fender, left door skin & rear decklid

so far this has been a A+ primo job thatim really excited about

So, are you changing the color to black? And, what about stripes? Sticking with the Z28 stripes, or going with something else, like the '68 nose stripe that comes over the fenders and then down the door?

like this: (I always loved this '68 only stripe)

yep - basically i ended up deciding to invert my color scheme

it's going to be black with red stripes - kind of a twist though - the stripes are going to be more like chevelle ss stripes which means closed and rounded at the ends - also the proportions are going to be a bit wider

im really excited about how this is all going to coming together

You mean I did all those attempts at photoshops and you just inverted the colors?

Just kidding, buddy, that looks AWESOME! I'm really glad I was able to get those pics at Superfest 2007 with our cars together before you inverted.
