The house is near dimondale, and I have a 2 car attached garage along with a 24X32 barn in the back yard.
Notable projects include the 2 full baths that both are in need of a redo, and most the interior of the house I intend to repaint. The ceilings are textured in a large amount of the house, and I would like to remove as much of that as I can. the kitchen is fairly nice, I like the appliances and the tile counters, that will be staying mostly as is. Although there are some columns that really date the place, so I will be removing those, along with the flower wallpaper
I have a work room in the basement for mountain bikes and RC cars, it is carpet at the moment but next winter I will probably put in a cheaper wood floor so it is easy to clean. Another room in the basement will eventually be turned into a home gym, thinking a power rack on a deadlift platform, and a piece of cardio equipment for the days I dont feel like driving to a gym.
As far as the garage, I will be finishing that, and generally raising its appearance. It looks well worn, the walls are dirty and the concrete is stained. I am debating between OSB and drywall, and between a typical floor epoxy, or spending more and going for something like the rustolem metallic coatings. New lights are also in order.
For the barn, it is actually pretty nice, it looks like it was used mostly for storage, the floors are clean, and the walls are still white. It has a wall mounted heater that is propane powered, I would eventually like to run a line to run that off of natural gas. it also is in the back yard, and you have to drive over grass to get to it. I will see how the ground holds up when I get a car that I will have to park back there, but eventually I would like to have concrete back to there.
So far I have done a few smaller things, A few new outlets, an ecobee, dishwasher, a few lights, a good amount of cleaning and had consumers do the free energy walkthrough where they replace lights, insulate some hot water lines, and give recommendations on improving efficiency.
