This weekend I added another bench light, mounted the TV on the wall (swivel arm) and added some more lighting along the garage door so it doesnt totally block the light when the door is open.

Digging it! Have you considered adding another shelf below the router shelf to mount the receiver and then mounting the speakers further out from the corner on the walls?

There will be some form of a nice sound system out there. Haven't figured out those details yet but it will probably be closer to the TV computer than the router. Was thinking of putting the mini-fridge in the corner beneath the router... but now that i look at it its probably not going to fit there

It looks like it might, but you may not be able to open the door.

As far as the speakers, if you want to go real fancy - and since you have the OSB'd ceiling now - you could do some in-ceiling speakers. That way they're entirely out of the way of anything that could hit them. Otherwise, it looks like what you have is a pair of indoor/outdoor JBLs? If so, those should be more than plenty, as JBL makes a great speaker.

Thats something i am considering. Yes those are indoor/outdoor JBLs. I might reuse those but i think the receiver needs to be replaced it starts injecting random static into the sound after its been on for a couple hours.

That is definitely the receiver at fault there, yep.

^^^ a couple more udpates. Sorry they are out of order, this interface isn't the friendliest. My dad helped me with the window about 3 weeks ago, and i built the bench this weekend. Going to continue it in an L-shape onto the south wall next.

It's nice having a little natural light in the shop.

It always had a window but it was about the worst thing you can imagine and offered about the same level of security as thin air
