Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

This is information taken from LS1tech for those that are curious how to adjust the FPSS that comes in nitrous kits.

Pull the plug on the end, then, with an allen head turn clockwise to raise pressure or set-point. Turn counterclockwise to lower pressure or set-point. If you use a air comp you can use the comp regulator and gauge to dial in the pressure you want. If you don't know what your fuel pressure is at highest demand, just set FPSS at 50psi. It's really there for pump failure, however, if your running a fuel gauge you would know what the pressure falls to at highest demand and be able to set it a little closer.

Just hook the air comp up to your FPSS, then hook your ohm meter up to your FPSS (take your ohm meter and touch the tips together and look at meter that shows continuity, then pull them apart and look at meter that shows an open circiut) start adding air and watch for continuity and note pressure on comp gauge. That is the set point for allowing the nitrous to be activated. Now you know which way to turn screw to set press up or down.

well i was going to go out and set my fpss because i have no idea what it is set at, and i think that it was cutting off the nitrous last year at the track...
so...i intalled the racetronics fuel pump last year, and i guess i dont know what the stock fuel psi is anyways.....so, what psi do you think i should set my fpss at? Ive read on ls1tech more on how to do it, and i think i can figure it out with the compessor and meter, or find someone with a gauge...but i wanna know what psi to set it at...45? 50? or is that with ls1's?? Just checking....

your car at idle or cruise will be at 42psi roughly, at WOT it is going to be at 45-50psi, I would set it to 40psi. On the bottle, it is gonna increase a bit from that bypass T setup but 40psi should be safe for ya

well, i was going to try it, but coulnt find an adapter to hook up the compressor. My next question is, after i take off the fpss, and now just have the wires hooked up,
do i disconnect them, and test w/out wires
do i leave the wires on and test
do i leave the wires on, activate the switch and test
do i leave the wires on, activate the switch, and click the WOT switch (no nitrous obvisoulsy) to open the selenoids, and test???
im sure a few options would work, but didnt know if it needed to be hooked up at all- easier if not!!
ALSO, should i start with more psi- like 60 and slowly lower it till continuity stops, or start at 0 and go up? Im stupid

yep. I have no idea what it is set at, but its prolly 5psi lower, which is where its supposed to be.
what i did was took the nozzle right off and ran the main line (after the selenoids) out of the hood by the winshied wipers. I tuned the set screw in the fpss in a little bit, and toook it down the road, nad when i hit it in 2nd gear, i would be able to see the nitrous comming out, and it didnt then.
I went back and adjusted the screw counterclockwise a turn and did it agin, and nitrous came out the whole time. So i figure that the fpss was cutting it off the first run, and not the second, and i didnt adjust it too much, so it has to be close.
