  • Car is done, pictures!

Well its been a long winter and now my car is complete, minus tune. It will be going down for the tune next week. Got the car wrapped up and drove it around tonight, few miles. Car feels like a bone stock car for what i drove. Just regular driving around town it will be just like stock until i give it that pedal. My RPMs didnt get up due to not being tuned and all that stuff, but i got up to 60 mph and it was all good out of boost so driving it down for the tune should be fine. Here are the pics! You can see the intercooler if you get really low (was on my butt taking the pictures where you can see it) or you'll have to stand really far away so all in all its pretty stealth. My exhaust (y-pipe) is pretty close at the dumps for the dual cutouts so im going to try to raise that a bit, but its not really all that bad. And here they are!

Here are some engine pics. Just threw the FRCs on on night quick but they are off now, because the tuner is going to throw the big injectors in while on the dyno so having them on would be a PITA for him. Reason wrap was only on one turbo at time of the underneath pic is due to a leak in the feed up top drenched it so i had to remove it. Also a polished radiator support is being made ATM to accomdate the up-pipe going threw it, also the alternator is going to be polished soon after the car is tuned!

              from middle of the build....

thanks! It felt so good to finally drive the car. I've been working on the car with it on jackstands for months so to see it finally back on the ground was nice. I missed the v8 sound after driving the slownoma around and just going for a light cruise made me feel like a kid in a candy store. I love the sound of the exhaust with no cats threw the Borla with the added whistle. With the cutouts open, the whistle gets really loud at 1k-1.5k, but after 2k the exhaust overtakes from being dumped right under my seat, havent taken it higher than that. Thanks for all the nice compliments!
