Paging Red TurboRS from the BBQ

That wasn't a 3.8l Series II engine in that thing was it? What turbo is on that thing as well. I would like some more info on that setup if anyone knows anything, thanks

from what i seen it was a 3.8 from a Grand National

that is what I was wondering, because it wasn't looking like a series II from the pics. There is like no way to mount it like he did with a series II

It was infact a grand national v6, turbod from the factory (I think he just had it chromed out)

I think he might've told me what he was estimating... I don't think he can do a normal dyno because of it being a turbo... no air flow. You'd need like a massive fan infront of the car so the turbo can suck the air in

he can dyno it, they should have the fans at every dyno place. The ones I have seen all have them

yeh. the dyno at superfest had no fan, and it was such a calm day barely any breeze.

the fans on dynos are as much for cooling as anything else, anyone overheat?

at superfest the only problem they had was a ujoint broke or something and shattered part of the transmission which then caused a small fire.
