im new when it comes to nitrous so bear with me...i have a 95 trans am lt1 a4 with 80k miles did 293rwhp on dyno. im thinkin of getin nitrous...wats the safest way to spray a lt1...im looking for 50 to 75 shot maybe 100 tops. thanks

A single nozzle wet kit, something to pull timing like a MSD or Mallory box, WOT switch, FP safety switch.
I would not really waste time on the 50. The 75 is an ok gain but you may as well just spray the 100.
What are your goals for the car? What's done to it?sigpic

as far as the engine goes full exhaust. msd opti. lt4 km. mail order tune. removed air pump evap and egr...engine is all stock block heads and intake....my goals change with my income... it will always b a show/cruise car mainly but like to play on street/track also

stock tranny with perform button 4l60e... 275 40 17 nexon n3000....stock converter.... all umi stage 1 k member-lower a arms - solid sway bar - 3 point sub frame connectors - tunnel brace - driveshaft loop - short torque arm - rear traling arms. and stock 10 bolt with 323s

You would probably enjoy a nice converter, shift kit, and some gears more than the nitrous.sigpic

wat wood b best ? some day i want to send of to le for heads intake and custom cam but hard to say when that day will come..i assumed that a converter wood b worthless without a cam...i have been thinkin about 373s

With a 100 shot... Buy a single point wet kit, install and spray. Change your plugs to a br6ef or a tr6, either will be fine. No need to pull timing with a 100 shot.1997 Camaro SS convertible #594-Gone but never forgotten

ok good i was only thinkin of nitrous cuz i have a friend with a zex kit on his lt1 and he might b sellin it soon....but ive always wanted a converter but another friend told me it was pointless without a cam... i want gears and a converter . wat wood b best? sounds like 373s are good for a4....i wanna do heads intake and tb and cam in future...shood i wait so everything matches or is the converter ands gears same either way.. wat i sayin is i dont wanna buy a converter and gears and have to do it again when upgrading engine and rear end....anyone got any pics on a nitrous kit on a lt1 car? btw he also said remove the opti vent b4 spraying cuz it cood damage it ?

A converter for my A4 should have been my first mod. Does it help with you have a cam? Absolutely.. But to say its pointless without is absolute shit.

Probably the most simple thing you could do is call nitrous out let and get there plate kit for an lt1... It's a complete set up... single and dual nozzle set ups have been proven but where they are placed is critical for equal distribution. . The front 4 cylinders on lt1s usually take the biggest hit... The plate kit will distribute the best other then a $2500 direct port.
Get a ss3600 yank converter and 3 73 gear is a great gear for a n2o lower rpm combo.
no don't remove opti vent... whoever is giving you advice is not the brightest . The vent is there to remove any moisture inside of the opti. .. which was the reason they added it in 95
