Super / Turbocharger Info

Alright guys I turn to you. I have done my research on differentials and turn to power adders.

I am very new to power adders and would like some information regarding the differences between super / turbos in how each one works, how they perform, and other useful info. I feel there should be a thread for this because I have not seen one that addressed these type of questions and I think the whole community would benefit from a greater undertstanding of these devices.
