Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I want to mount my NANO bottle similar to the one in the pics below.. I know I am a little slow, but I have looked everywhere and these are the only pics I have found with a bottle mounted like I want... Has anyone seen any kind of mounts for this? I know I would have to mount mine facing back(instead of down) as I have an 8 point roll bar..
those are nice but I would still need the bottle bracket. I just received an email from NANO sales and I will need to fab something up. They do not make NANO specific mounts..

Holy crap that setup is intense. Ive never run a car with a bottle. I'm not opposed to the idea. Maybe somebody has to take me for a ride and show me what it's about this spring. Maybe. Hopefully. Please. Hah.

Anyway. It looks like that bottle is mounted with a similar bracket to a capacitor for an audio system. Almost looks like a fire extinguisher wall mount.

I think I am going to use the clamps that came with the bottle, machine a notch in my nitrous billet bottle hold downs. Slip the nano clamps under and tighten the billet hold downs. Maybe play with it tomorrow and see if it will clear the cross bar if mounted on top of nitrous bottle. My current set up(no nano).
I'll get some better pics tomorrow. This one is old..

You might want to talk to somebody at the track you race at about safety rules and see if something like that is acceptable before you spend the time to make it up.
