Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
You really should get on LTX tech
And loyd Elliott is going to be a little cheaper than AI and the power numbers will be somewhat comparable look it up
I agree on ltx tech great website, great people.
And yes loyd will be cheaper, but won't make the power AI can. Just remember you get what you pay for(not bashing LE) but there are a reason people pull off le heads and put AI heads on. But if your on a budget LE will most likely be a better choice.
Just learned 2day that a gota have 2 wisdom teeth removed asap with no dental insurance so there goes my mod money but at least i know where 2 go when the time comes.. thanks
Thats y im askin on here cuz i know the lts1 are fussy... i just askin for some detalied proven lt1 up grades.. weather it got them 1 or 100 horespower and pros and cons.. cuz mine is pretty much stock besides exhaust..
I made 370rwhp cam only with cleaned up valve bowls (the most basic headwork, doesnt increase the port runner volume) and a little extra compression. Thats well over 400 crank. LT1s are fussy engines, you need to pick the right parts and match them for good results. The engine work cost me about 2k with an advanced induction cam an all the suppporting parts. Check out my youtube channel, its the same as my username here.

Honestly the only con to my setup is its pricier than other cam-only builds. But it works and its exceeded my expectations at everything. It even gets decent gas mileage for cripes sake (26 highway)

There is a line between doing it right and making good power(See above) and half assing it and making 325RWHP. Joel and a few others on here have stepped over that line. Please take your time, buy good well matched parts and join Joel.
325rwhp on a cammed LT1 automatic isn't half assing it, thank you very much.
