  • Purge bad? and is it a 4 AN or 6 AN?

Pretty sure my purge has died.. When I hit the switch it blows the fuse.. I unhooked the purge, had my son hit the switch and I have 12 volts to the purge.. Did a continuity check to see if I had a short, no short in wiring. I then tried to see if the purge would click with power applied.. So I hooked up 2 wires straight to the purge, placed 1 on + other on a good ground.. Looked like the 4th of July and obviously no click.. So pretty sure the noid is shot.. I want to order one, but it asks if I want -4 AN or -6 AN? I have no idea what AN sizes are what.. But here's a pic and the black fitting requires a 7/16th wrench.. -4 AN? Does anyone have a purge they want to sell?

Those solenoids are rebuild-able too....don't know if it's worth wasting your time to send it back or not.

I thought they were.. Nitrous outlet only sells purge kits... I don't need a kit, just a purge..

Pretty sure it's just the small n2o noid - http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...p?idproduct=25

I'd just buy the kit for $10 more and have some extra fittings and such around :\

There is also this zex purge noid for $58 - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ZEX-NS6521

Not to bad - drug are good, alternating between Norco and Ultratram

I go back on Monday to have them change the bandages - and hopefully I won't have to carry this wound vacuum around with me much longer. Hopefully they'll know when the next surgery is scheduled. I want this done and over with.
