Hey my neighbors recently got some sort of contract with some company to make turbo kits for 3800 series II f-bodies. There are stage 1, 2, and 3 kits. Next time we all meet up I will take some pictures of it for everyone. My neighbor has a firebird with the 3.8 and has what is considered the stage II kit. right now he is running 9 psi on a stock block with a T60 turbo. He got his trans rebuilt with a shift kit, 3.73s in the rear, and some tuning program. He ran a 13.6 on street tires. With the boost controller on the stage II kit they said they could probably turn the boost up to 25lbs, but not safely with stock internals and having 80,000+ miles. If any of you 3.8 or 3.4 (not sure if the kit will work on the 3.4) guys are interested PM me and I will try to get you some more info and their number as soon as possible.

yea find out pricing. I was going to build a custom powerdyne kit, already got the blueprints for brackets and stuff. If the price is right a turbo kit could be the better route

yeah, shouldnt be too much since you would be getting it from them and not the company they're in a contract with. Also you'll get two headers and both of them will go to the turbo so you get that much more exhaust flowing through it to really make it wind up. Oh and i feel this question coming on so i will answer it now. I'm not sure if everything comes ceramic coated or not but theres a good chance it will.

so the headers are forward facing then? Get them on here man. Is the company they are contracted with called like Cartuning or 3800performance?

hmm i'm really not sure, the headers are foward facing though. I will try to get them on here, they have visited the site before but i guess just didn't feel like joining. I don't think it would be 3800performance because its a company that does turbo kits for all cars and not just 3800s
