  • Grand National Injectors on a...

I know we have some GN gurus on here. I had a friend's dad offer to sell me the injectors off his old GN for my '97 3.8L Firebird. Would they bolt up and what all would be necessary to make them work for my Powerdyne setup? Thanks!

they should interchange without any issues - but they are only 28# if they are stock. Honestly they are 24+ years old now and you'd be better off with something like a gtp or bigger.

I threw a few sets of gn injectors in the trash when I moved - they just aren't worth anything. If you do get them, make sure to cleaned/flow them so you know where they stand.

Thank you Jeremy. I believe these may be aftermarket injectors replacements. We'll see if he can find them. If not I will look around for some GTP injectors.

I ran GTP injectors with my powerdyne, I'm not sure what your boost plans are.. but try not to run over 5-7 psi unless you like rebuilding superchargers frequently (powerdynes are notorious for not handling boost well at all). I will say, mine had zero issues with 6ish psi in the 4000 miles or so I put on it though.

no problem - if they are aftermarket, the blue top bosch 36lb'ers are great, 868 (GTP) 36lb, the 009 42's suck ass, 42lb green top bosch are good. The newer 50's and 60's are sweet. If they are older they might be red top 30lb'ers which are a waste of time, but where hot back in the day.

Katech has a great deal on new GTP/ASA injectors - typically you can find them on ebay. I have a set in my bird.
