The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Well it looks like if I'm going to use this tnt power ring like it is that I have a good amount of hacking and whacking to get it to work. I'm debating just making a new one thats much smaller and then just trimming a piece of fernco to work as a bellow to connect the two. thoughts?
Is that designed for an fbody? Looks like your really going to have to hack something together to get that to work. Not my style....
yep it came off of a members car here. I don't have the instructions in front of me but I know they have you cutting the snout of the lid back some and I think somehow dropping the lid down as well. Seems like I'd have to cut the lid quite a bit and then how well is the maf going to fit in there? The part of the lid I'd be cutting is the only part that angles downward :/
Nope, screw that. Not hacking up good parts to make other poorly designed ones work. Id say get something different.
only problem with that is nitrous plates are $ that I don't wanna spend. This kit is actually turning out to be more of a curse than a blessing. I can make something that'll work just gotta have the guys at work cnc it
i think drill/tap the MAF and put the nozzles in there just like we talked.
I also have about 2ft of leftover highly polished 3.5" aluminum pipe if you want to cut a bit off and make your own nitrous ring. you could make it really small
