  • Running spray? New must have item!!!!

    $279.99
    SKU: 150001
The Typhoon turbine makes ordinary nitrous systems, extra-ordinary. It takes your nitrous system and kicks it into overdrive with boosts in horsepower and torque!

The Typhoon is a very efficient way to improve the delivery of Nitrous into the intake system. This unique design utilizes the high pressure released during nitrous activation to drive the turbine and create positive force in much the same way that a turbo uses the exhaust force to drive the turbo. The result is an improved spray pattern along with a mild boost force that greatly improves the horsepower and torque efficiency over typical EFI single nozzle systems.

When the N2O is not in use, the “Passive Mode” allows passing air to spin the turbine freely to create swirl effect of air entering the throttle body for improved air flow.

Unique design utilizes high pressure nitrous or pressurized air to drive the turbine to create positive induction force.
Implements a directional injection nozzle that can be angled to control the speed.
Injection nozzle uses different size orifice jets to control the flow rate of the force media.
Has ability to utilize a Y mixer nozzle to introduce both the force media (air/n2o) and a catalyst media such as fuel, alcohol or methanol.
Passive mode allows passing air to spin turbine fan freely to create swirl effect of air entering the throttle body for improved air flow.
Improves horsepower effi ciency of existing single nozzle nitrous injection system by as much as 15% and increases torque numbers up to 20% or more.
Installs easily within minutes to any aftermarket cold air pipe system.

So if I buy a bottle of compressed air and position it like the NOS, it'll generate boost and I'll have a forced induction car! w000000tz0rs!!!!

this doesn't seriously work does it?
The Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.

Actually.......there may be some merit to it. Compressed air/nitrogen can spin a turbine many 10's of thousands RPM....soooooo.....along with the extremely cold air being introduced into the intake tract...faster moving dense air means more power. Plus...I have not known DEI to put out junk products. Could be a snake oil but I would like to see some data before I'd bash it.

so the tornado works? this is the same exact concept except it spins.

Um, no...it's not the same concept and I didn't say it would work did I?

No you didn't say it would work. The ad claims that it gives the air a swirl effect when no nitrous is in use, that's the same claims made by the tornado and I don't believe I've seen any positive results from those.

No, I don't think it would make a hill of beans difference if no N2O was being used...at that point it becomes a gimmick.

I would laugh if the N2O froze the turbine in place.

I just figured it was like the tornado.. Junk... I have no facts to base my bashing on...
