nitrous installed ? about the gear

i just hooked up a 100 shot on my TA and plan on taking it to the track this weekend.. i have a few questions i have 4.10 gears and right now i trap the light at like 5800-5900 in 4th so if i end up using some spray i think i will have to be in 5th then? if so can 5 gear hold up to nitrous? i know its a overdrive and i have heard you shouldnt really put too much power to them.. but i just wanted to know weither i should spray 3-5 or just 3 and 4th.. thanks for any imput..

NOS universal wet kit.. i have it set up on a wide open throttle switch so it should be interesting.. because i cant spay untill 3 or i will just spin.. i havent used it yet becuase i am sill in the process of getting a custom switch panel made for it.. then i will be all set.

your trap is at like 110? you can use 5th, but .74 ratio isnt what your wanting. and i hope on a manual ur not bouncing limiter with the spray and have a button WOT and push button or window switch

at that power level 5th should be ok.
I don't recommend using n20 without a window switch on a stick though.
bog and boom, hit the limiter>boom

youll be fine, ive personaly never seen a bolt on LT1 with a 100 shot need to hit 5th even with 4.10's. hell i never had to in my old SS and that was a 150 shot and a 355 and you shouldnt spray the car under 3000rpm anyway, LT1s dont like that

25.6s i took the car out last night and sparyed it.. it was alright but i thnk something isnt right becuse it kindof hesitates like it needs fuel or something.. i am going to take the fogger out and see if its semi plugged and make sure that i am getting fuel in the mixture also.. then sunday if the weather is nice i am going to see how much its helped!!

ive ran a couple differant sizes with no issue, from a 26inch MT ET street, to 18 inch Y2K vette wheels, my buddy ran 17inxh ZR1s and still never had to hit 5th.
