Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Anyone using the Dyno Tune lean AFR nitrous kill switch? Thinking of picking one up, just wondered if anyone has any experience with them... Not buying new, found a few used ones..
Sounds like a good idea. Basically what I get out of it is... If you're cruisin down the track and your car is running lean, it kills the N2O so you don't wreck the motor even more?
are you still gonna have a standalone?
sometimes you have to set them rather high to keep the lean spike with a fuel rail mounted from shutting it down

Yep, I understand what it does.. I just wondered if anyone has one or knows someone, do they really work?

Nope, no stand alone.. Sold it.. Is it worth the investment? Or a ***** to dial in since I will be running off the rail? Sorta sounds like it will cause more problems without a dedicated fuel system??

Yes, lean NO2 is a very nasty display of sudden power discharge. I would think there's some kind of monitor that watched the gas flow to the nozzles and kills the nitro when there's a lean condition.
Just set the delay to something like a full second or even half a second. You need the delay because when the nitrous 1st hit you going to get a lean spike but thats only going to last a VERY short amount of time.

Got ya! So the lean spike is usually upon activation?

..
yes. since we have a regulator on the return line in the tank it doesn't respond very quickly to pressure changes.
you can run a shorter fuel line from the solenoid to the jet than the n20 line to help the spike
