Turbo cars u want a taller gear ratio (like 3.0-3.42 depending on tire size) to stay in the gear longer to make more boost, so a longer 1-2-3 so more power can be build. Thats why turbo cars on the highway are stupid fast.

Right now with a 3.42 my car will max out in the 1/4mile, so a 3.00 gear should give me room to get up to 160mph. (which i wont be trapping lol) I should trap in the high 130s tho.

Also it will help me out being a 3 speed on the highway.

The more load you put on ur motor the more boost you can build, this is why when guys have 4.10s in the 6 speed cars they dont see boost in first gear, bc the motor isnt making enough load to build boost. Same with when you rev it in N it wont make boost.

Yup turbos work off load and heat. The more load you put on the motor the faster its going to spool the turbo.

There is a guy on Tech with a 2.75 gear in his 80mm butt mount and runs bottom 10's in Vegas were the DA is badddd

Thanks! Yea it was a fun build, alot of hours put in! I would work for 10h then come home and work for a few, wake up work for a few more then go back to work for 10h! Deffinitly made the winter go by quicker!

Well more updates I guess....

The moser 9 inch is in, need to shim the brakes and install the DS.
Cage is slowly going in...kinda a pain alone tho..need to find time when people are free haha
Went to summit and picked up some new goodies!
15x10s, 15x4s, new accel wires, new plugs, roll cage foam, cutout, and RCI platinum series 5point harness'!
