Hey guys just want some opinions and some knowledge.

I have a 94 Z, and i love blowers.. first question i have is whats the best SC kit to buy for my car and what are the issues i may run in to?

Next is what kind of numbers HP wise would i be expecting with a Cam, Intake, Exhaust and a Blower running around 10psi?

Will my stock fuel and spark system be sufficient with these mods?

And where would be the best place to go to get it tuned with these mods?

Their are a few SC kits on the market for LT1s..you can usually find one used for under $2000. keep in mind LT1s do not like boost and it is recommended that you strengthen your bottom end. You will probably need bigger injectors as well and you will definitely need a tune

If you want to do it right, you'll need a forged bottom end, bigger fuel/oil pumps, and reworked heads on top of what you already have listed.

Then you can start saving for a new rear end...

Power is dependent on what cam/head configuration you end up with.

10 psi on will blow those head gaskets, no doubt in my mind. I'm running 5 psi and that still blew them on the previous owner. If you're going to buy one, buy a Procharger. Don't listen to all the people that say "P1SC's are junk you need a D1SC." P1's can still make good numbers if you spin them enough. The old owner of my car claimed that he made 330 rwhp with 5 psi, bone stock motor, no headers. I made 420, (low compression, heads, big cam). That may seem low but considering the CR and only 5 psi I think it's good. You're going to need another fuel pump, like an inline. A 255 would be sufficient. You need to change your plugs when you put it on (TR6) so I would change wires to some MSD's, maybe a new coil. As far as tuning, Baker Engineering, has tuned my car twice, very happy with the results. I've seen many of car with forced induction go there, with great results. Also, SB tuning is a sponsor on here, never delt with him before though. If you need anymore info, let me know.

if you want room for growth, the P1sc is too small, just pony up the extra 400 and get the D1SC, i hate having a P1sc, but it was on the car when i bought it. but procharger is the way to go! and as for tuning EVI!! stan has in his shop right now a twin turbo vette that is nasty! if you want to travel a bit EPP in indiana is like the best tuning shop for prochargers, they specialize in procharged F bodies and bob is a great guy! for suporting mods, even with the dinky P1 your gonna wanna a 255lph pump, dont go inline, replace your intank pump. your also going to want atleast 45lb injectors (leaves some room for growth) oh and Stock LT1s hate boost... your gonna need to change your lower end...

Well i want to put down 450ish Ponys

I wanted to just slap a 7-8 PSI blower on it and go. untill i had the money to do the whole engine.

So it really wont handle 7 or 8 pounds, its not like i'll be hot lapping the car, its just the weekend driver and i dont go to the track often. Just a little light to light action thats all.
